SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Sr/Director of Talent Solutions manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and talent management programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic initiatives. This includes collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning). Overseeing the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including annual performance conversations, calibrations and standards, and performance evaluation instruments

Independently design moderately complex talent management and performance management solutions / systems leveraging knowledge of required supporting structure(s).
Analyze and make recommendations regarding supporting technology solutions.
Make recommendations regarding the use of appropriate tools for various assessment situations.
Use talent review information and data from multiple businesses to determine individual and organization development needs.
Design and execute executive development strategies.
Demonstrate excellent project management skills in the management of large-scale talent management, performance management and leadership development projects.
As project leader, responsible for effective planning, timely delivery, efficient project management, development of assigned consultants, and stakeholder management.

The salary/hourly range is $148,580 – $192,560 for a Dir Talent Solutions and $168,410 – $218,260 for a Sr Dir Talent Solutions. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc. Depending on an employee’s assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee’s base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
