Director of Sales (Property & Casualty insurance software)

PCMS is a leading software provider of cloud-based solutions designed for small to mid-size insurance carriers and agents to better streamline their operations and maximize their potential.

PCMS is looking to hire a Director of Sales (Individual Contributor), who will be responsible for developing new business for our PCMS Atlas Platform, that offers end to end capabilities (Policy Administration, Billing & Accounting, Claims Management, Management & Statutory ing, and Agent Portal) to property & casualty insurers. You will target new business opportunities with insurance companies and develop a pipeline as well as meet an assigned quota.

This position will to the Vice President of Strategy & Growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Responsible for managing and growing territory footprint, building future sales pipeline (develop a healthy pipeline of opportunities)
• Build value-based “C-level” executive relationships that enable PCMS to hit annual sales targets
• Responsible for meeting your assigned revenue quota
• Lead the sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalizing and closing the deal
• Organize and participate in sales presentations with business and technical teams
• Maintain accurate records of prospect contacts and activities in Zendesk (CRM) system following procedures defined
• Producing accurate monthly forecasts of pending business to PCMS leadership team
• Effectively communicating the PCMS value prop, technology, process, and any related partnerships
• Maintain a solid knowledge base of PCMS products and services
• Understand competitive market and PCMS selling strategies
• Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with supporting business units on opportunity pursuits
• Provide feedback and lessons learned from the field to help the PCMS product and delivery teams to perpetually improve our solutions and services

WHAT YOU BRING TO PCMS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field
• 5+ years enterprise SaaS software sales experience with sustained quota achievement (proven track record of selling)
• 3+ years of insurance industry/domain knowledge
• Has established relationships/network within insurance industry
• Practical experience of dealing at ‘C’ level (presentations to and relationships with) – able to establish credibility and trust quickly
• Understands the value of a consultative selling approach
• Excellent influencing and communication skills and able to display tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations
• Able to pursue leads in a compelling and relentless fashion, strong prospecting skills
• Results orientated, highly motivated and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
• Accurately assesses and qualifies opportunities to ensure sales effort and resources are expended effectively
• Developed & polished personal presentation skills

CONSIDERATIONS

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States and Canada between 30% to 50% as required
• Attending seminars, exhibitions and trade shows as required
• Perform other related duties and activities as required
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
