• The Director of Business Applications will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, maintenance and execution of a business system application strategy and roadmap for the organization in partnership with clinical, business, and technical leadership. The Director will lead a cross-functional team and oversee the application implementation, configuration, and maintenance of business systems with a focus on Workday and Workforce Dimensions (UKG). The Director will partner with operational leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that support business needs and objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute the business application technology strategy and roadmap inclusive of application upgrades, enhancements and implementation activities that address clinical and business plans, vendor product developments and support requirements, while ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
• Partner with operational leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to assess current practices and processes and develop new or improved processes, methodologies, systems, tools and/or services.
• Lead the application implementation, configuration, support, and maintenance of business systems, with a focus on Workday, and Workforce Dimensions (UKG).
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by providing responsive and effective support, developing solid working relationships with leadership and end users, and delivering high quality services to meet expectations.
• Ensure data is correctly classified and security controls are in place.
• Manage within financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; and analyzing variances.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Education
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services required. A combination of education and work experience in a closely related field can be a substitution for the required Bachelor’s degree.
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience
  
  • A minimum of five(5) years of leadership experience, with an additional four (4) years of Workday experience required.

  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across departments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to lead large scale technology initiatives.
