Job Description:

The incumbent shall perform the functions of a logistics management specialist supporting the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) and is responsible for:

• Provide logistics services associated with the tracking of critical open issues for Naval Shipboard Radar and Combat Systems (Aegis, SSDS, LCS, etc.) as ed on various external databases and websites. This includes researching part issues to determine which system they are associated with and then assigning those issues in ITSM to the appropriate system experts at NSWC PHD for resolution. Follow up to assure ITSM issues are properly adjudicated.
• Apply for and maintain access to various classified and unclassified databases and websites such as Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), ITSM, Sailor to Engineer (S2E), Remedy, Navy 311, LogiQuest, eARRTS, etc.
• Provide administrative control over user access mainly to the S2E website and other unclassified and classified databases/websites where system experts need access in the process of adjudicating system issues. This also includes training users on how to access these data sources as needed.
• Provide metrics and trend information on these issues in ITSM and attend associated meetings.
• Lead NSWC PHD command helpdesk for NAVY 311 and ITSM tickets by receiving notifications and ensuring those are reflected in ITSM toward adjudicating all issues.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have an active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 or more years in coordinating, planning, tracking, and scheduling
• Asset Tracker and PARTS Databases
• Microsoft Office (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with logistics support to NAVY radar and/or combat systems, specifically in Associated Parts Listings (APL) and Consolidated Onboard Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) feedback s.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SharePoint as an administrator (granting and controlling user access with associated permissions).

Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
