The Bureau of Vital Statistics operates a statewide system for the registration of births, deaths, and other vital events that happen within the State of Ohio. We are currently seeking an experienced clerical support candidate to perform data entry tasks for the registration of vital events (e.g., births, deaths) using specified data entry software. Unless required by legislation, the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 25, Step 1 of the union/exempt (OCSEA/1199) Pay Range Schedule ($18.60 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($19.00) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Failure to provide transcripts within five (5) working days of being requested will cause the applicant to be eliminated from further consideration.
