Do you have experience providing exceptional customer service? We have opportunities for client-focused individuals to join our Assessments department as employer services centre (ESC) agents. The Assessments department at WorkSafeBC is responsible for helping employers register for our no-fault insurance systems and maintain their accounts. Working in our call centre, you’ll support our customer service initiatives by acting as the first point of contact for employers who require assistance with their insurance coverage – answering their questions regarding coverage, registration, and payment.
How you’ll make a difference: You’ll help ensure B.C.’s workers’ compensation system is properly funded so we can serve workers and employers now and in the future.
Where you’ll work
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In this role, you’ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in the Richmond office.
What you’ll do
Handle incoming phone inquiries on employer assessments, account compliance, and financial transactions
Collect required financial information from clients for the employer account, which may require placing phone calls to employers
Communicate via email to new employers and e-business agents who have requested assistance for online account services
Investigate employer contact information for returned mail and update contact information on employer accounts
