Reo Group Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist $-p/hour + Super at Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

Location: Greater Western Sydney (onsite parking- no public trasnport)

Salary package: $40-60p/hour + super (commensurate with experienced)

Role Overview

As the Talent acquisition specialist your key objective is to deliver best practice recruitment nationally for this market leader in the construction industry. You will assist the line managers and head of human resources identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job-openings, candidate assessment and assist hiring managers with the full-cycle recruitment process.

To be successful for this role, you need to be a strong communicator and thrive in fast-paced environments. You will have exposure to recruiting blue collar professionals in a similar industry. This is a brilliant opportunity to learn in a highly engaged and motivated environment.

Responsibilities

Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding

• Draft job advertisements in line with company objectives and in consultation with hiring managers.
• Advertise vacant roles via online job portals, including LinkedIn and Seek.
• Proactively pursue and communicate with potential candidates via online platforms including LinkedIn and Seek.
• Assess, screen and shortlist candidates in conjunction with hiring managers.
• Coordinate and facilitate face-to-face interviews with candidates.
• Prepare and deliver conditional letters of offer and employment contracts.
• Coordinate pre-employment medical appointments.
• Conduct thorough reference checks for candidates.
• Manage and co-ordinate the induction and onboarding experience for new employees.
• Ensure all pre- and post- employment documentation is stored accurately on employee personnel files.

Administration & ing

• Prepare regular recruitment s for management and maintain manual ing as required.
• Support conducting reviews of HR documentation and processes such as policies, procedures, processes, and forms.
• Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of an Applicant Tracking System.
• Ensure all recruitment-related systems are kept updated and maintained at all times.

HR Systems Management

• Ensure that Company job descriptions remain current / accurate at all times.
• Participate in the development of new systems and procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working in a fast paced recruitment environment with at least some exposure to blue collar recruitment
• Solid understanding of full cycle recruiting
• Excellent stakeholder management and candidate care skills
• Excellent knowledge of ATS, sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing tools
• High degree of discretion and personal integrity
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Strong influencer stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and effectively influence all people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tenacity, self-motivated and results orientated.
