Suttles Plumbing Hiring for Service Dispatcher at Simi Valley, CA Full Time

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Family-owned and operated, woman-owned and growing, 24/7, commercial plumbing service company. We service the South Bay, Los Angeles, Pasadena, San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Ventura areas. Our office is in Simi Valley.

POSITION:

We are seeking a full-time employee to assist in answering customer calls, dispatching, and accounting responsibilities. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitasking. This role will work independently and as part of a team to provide skilled and confident work to our service department. This position will directly to the Office Manager and Field Supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Answering service calls and scheduling/dispatching techs in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring gathering and communicating correct and detailed information
• Assisting field techs in proposals, communication, and submissions as needed
• Vendor invoice entering
• Credit card receipt collection and entering
• Assisting with collection calls
• Customer payment entering
• Managing pending proposals generated by field (submitting to Field Supervisor for review/sending to client)
• Submittals and job folders for contract jobs
• Prelims for jobs over $10,000
• Union dispatch requesting
• Initiating and following up with marketing calls and emails
• Other tasks as required such as filing, answering phones, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Customer Service and/or dispatching required
• Proficiency in Microsoft: Word, Excel, Google, Gmail, Teams
• Proficiency in PDFs
• I-9 Documents to Prove Authorization to Work in U.S.
• Able to Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
• Discreetness/confidentiality agreement will be signed
• Good Command of the English Language
• Responsible, Trustworthy, and Professional
• Organized and fast-paced, able to handle high-volume pressure
• Excellent Verbal / Written Communication Skills and Customer Service
• Strong Work Ethic and Dependable
• Self-Starter & Problem Solver
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team

COMPENSATION:

• Full Time
• Pay: $20-25/hour
