FAMC is Looking For Childcare Center Housekeeper (PT) at Richmond, BC Full Time

A childcare center is looking for a housekeeper. The successful candidate must be reliable and trustworthy and is responsible to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for the center. This position is from 10:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Vacuum, cleaning, and wet moping carpets and floor duties.

Cleaning, disinfecting and dusting all surfaces.

Empty, clean, and disposing of trash.

Clean wash washrooms, mirrors, and sinks.

Makeup beds and change linens.

Tidy up rooms.

Wash windows as scheduled.

Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry, and sort, fold and put away clean laundry.

Operate cleaning equipment.

Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.

Monitor and necessary domestic repairs and replacements.

Wash dishes and clean the kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards.

Kitchen duties including preparation of food.

Restock room supplies.

Check all appliances in rooms are in working order.

Cook lunch and prepare snacks.

Help with decoration duties.

Help with all functioning.

Follow all center’s safety and security procedures.

Abilities and skills:
Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend

Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
