Under supervision of the Managing Director of Human Capital, the Talent Acquisition & Retention Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruiting, as well as creating and implementing a comprehensive and effective recruitment and retention plan for the firm. In addition, this role will serve as the primary champion of employee engagement initiatives and promote a progressive firm culture.

Key Functions

• Manages the recruitment process for all personnel, including collegiate & experienced hires, serving as the primary contact & fostering strong relationships with colleges & universities
• Maintains active communication throughout the recruitment cycle, from initial contact to hiring recommendation, ensuring a fulfilling & positive candidate experience

• Collaborates with firm marketing to develop, plan, & implement recruitment campaigns
• Oversees onboarding program & collaborates with various internal departments to help facilitate a comprehensive process
• Proactively seeks out passive candidates to fill open positions
• Develops & implements employee recognition programs
• Dynamically presents to groups or in 1:1 settings, both in-person & virtually

• Reviews & updates job descriptions, as required, assuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree & 3+ years of progressive, relevant experience
• Experience using HRIS software
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Exceptional organization skills & attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
• Experience working in a professional environment preferred
