We have an exciting new opportunity in the Highland Heights KY facility (hybrid) for Product Development Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Product Development Engineer that supports the Power Distribution cable business. Engaged in the design, qualification, manufacturing and optimization of low voltage (<2 kV), medium voltage (<46 kV) and bare overhead distribution and transmission cables. s to the Manager of Product Development for Power Distribution Cables. Responsible for end-to-end product development, design to cost, product improvement, and new product qualification.

Education/ Experience Required

• BS degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science or related area
• Two to four years’ experience in wire and cable product development preferred
• Knowledge of extrusion processing preferred
• Rubber & Plastics formulation development and compounding preferred

Physical Requirements/ Safety Requirements

• Coordinated movements of arms / fingers / hands
• Simple movements of the feet / legs
• Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
