P&C Global, Inc Hiring for ETL Developer at Remote Full Time

P&C Global® is a professional services firm notable for its work in corporate strategy, innovation, data sciences, digital reinvention, performance improvement, and implementation services. We have an open opportunity for an ETL Developer to join us for a 2-year project to transform our client’s enterprise business management solution.

Project Details: Our client is moving from a custom developed Financial and Case Management application (Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and SQL Server) with a complex data schema to commercially available off the shelf software (COTS). You’ll be responsible for migrating (extracting, transforming, cleaning, validating – “ETL”) over 20 years of legacy data to the new schema. You’ll work closely with business process and management consultants, the COTS vendor, and the client to complete the migration.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Service minded, detail focused, patient, flexible and high-EQ.
• Prior experience interpreting business rules from existing code and performing ETL activities in support of data migration for software implementations.
• 10+ years professional experience using the following technologies:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• SQL Language
• Database stored procedures and triggers
• Query performance tuning
• APIs (REST)
• Visual Basic
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology.
• Two or more of the following professional certifications:
• COMPTIA+ (A+, Data+, or Network+)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Solutions Associate (MCSA), Solutions Developer (MCSD), Solutions Expert (MCSE).

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience using ProLaw and/or Elite 3E data transformation schema.
• Experience working for or with professional services organizations (Law, Consulting, etc.).

Location: Remote with less than 20% travel.
