Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Logistics Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate with various teams will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with company policies and regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, coordinating with the procurement team to restock as needed and minimize stockouts. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and customs documentation for international shipments.
• Warehouse Operations: Organize and maintain the warehouse to maximize efficiency. Safely operate material handling equipment and oversee loading and unloading activities.
• Transportation Coordination: Collaborate with Dash Express fleet drivers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Track shipments and update relevant customers on their status.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damages or defects, promptly addressing any issues and following up with suppliers or carriers as necessary.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, shipping details, and other logistics-related data. Utilize inventory management software and other tools effectively.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the logistics department. Propose and implement solutions to enhance overall logistics operations.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while handling materials and operating equipment. Ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements and company policies.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, customer service, and warehouse staff, to facilitate seamless logistics operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a logistics associate or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with shipping and customs documentation for international shipments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and operating material handling equipment.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
