Improvement Program Facilitator – Patient Experience Program

About the role:

• The Patient Experience Improvement Program Facilitator will support the district Partnering with Consumers Committee and facilitate the development and implementation of current and future Patient Experience programs.
• This role will provide leadership, expert knowledge and advice on all aspects of National Standard 2 and associated patient experience programs and will work collaboratively with HNE Clinicians and facility management.
• They will be supported in the role by their Line Manager in the first instance but also by the Executive Director Clinical Governance and by their colleagues who they work alongside with.
• They will be supported via comprehensive orientation to the department and the role, via an open-door policy for real time discussion and via monthly accountability meetings (MAMs).
• Education and training plans will be determined at the commencement of the role and will be supported.

• The Clinical Governance department consists of teams of dedicated and dynamic people who work collaboratively with each other, with clinicians/teams and with management across the district with a primary focus on patient safety, patient experience, clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

Information For Applicants

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
