Purpose

This position will require relocation to Medina, Ohio. The company will provide relocation assistance. This position provides a career advancement potential to become a Lead Business Manager. The Production Manager is responsible for the overall functioning and performance of multiple departments and areas of the manufacturing facility. The responsibility within those areas shall include overall accountability for performance in 5 key performance areas: People, Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Cost Efficiency. Each of these key performance areas shall have key performance indicators (KPIs) that are tracked and ed on a shift by shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver the production demand in the area.
• Establish run-order for the daily production demand in the area.
• Establish employee schedules to most effectively maximize KPI performance in the area.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are in place and employees are properly trained.
• Establish tracking and ing systems for shift based KPIs.
• Establish visible ing of the KPIs to all employees.
• Manage day to day issues to ensure maximized KPI performance.
• Influence peers and superiors to establish continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure all employees in the area have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be effective.
• Confer/work closely with other Managers to insure effective production operations.
• Effectively manage all payroll and operations documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Culinary School Certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Education/experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
