Confidential Hiring for Manufacturing Customer Service Rep at West Bridgewater, MA Full Time

Temp-to-hire, $18 – $19/hr.

Position Summary:
Works with customers to:

• Ensure the timely production/delivery of ordered materials.
• Coordinates shipments to assigned customers
• Resolves customer changes, material shortages, etc. as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customers orders within the ERP system (authorization levels, lead times, minimum order amounts and safety stock levels)
• Responds to customer changes by communicating with other departments
• Timely communication with customers regarding order changes
• Enters and reviews customer purchase requests
• Manages distribution documents to ensure timely delivery of orders; coordinates with Shipping Department
• Reviews inventory levels to determine if additional materials are needed and initiates purchase orders as necessary
• Works closely with suppliers on timing and delivery statuses of materials
• Perform other duties as assigned or required relating to the supply of materials to Shawmut customers

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in Customer Service (in a Purchasing, Production or Manufacturing role is a plus)
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly customer focused approach required
• Must be detail-oriented; Strong organizational, multi-tasking and planning skills
• Ability to comfortably interact with all levels of internal and vendor organizations domestically and internationally
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• ERP system experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-starter, flexible and team player

Hours: 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday (8.5-hour workday with hour lunch; shorter lunch break can be accommodated to decrease hours)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
