Patient Services answer in-coming calls and be the face and voice of the practice. Handle patient relations along with referring offices, Treatment planning with patients and coordination and communication with referring offices
Accounting & Payroll – Daily financials, Patient billing/General accounting, process expenses, Process payroll
Insurance- Bill insurance, Collect from insurance, Understand dental codes, Manage aging claims, Proficient with insurance disputes, Pre-TX estimates
Administrative support – Manage Doctor’s calendars and schedule travel
Business Operations – Manage business insurance, Licenses, office equipment, Warranties and supplies
Marketing – Patient education, Lunch & Learns, Deliveries, Mailings, Continuing Education for employees and doctors
Human Resources – Understanding of applicable state and federal regulations, Manage employee handbook, Manage Osha requirements and safety protocols
Employee benefits – Facilitate and track employee eligibility
Employee supervisor – oversee and manage 10+ employees
Computers- Able to troubleshoot IT issues, Manage 5+ types of dental and marketing software, Manage websites and social media presence
Clinical- Basic knowledge of PPE and safety in a dental operatory, Able to assist with light responsibilities if necessary, Strong understanding of oral health and teeth numbers, Basic knowledge on how to use all dental equipment and strong understanding of root canals and dental implants
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce s, assign tasks, accept instructions and handle vendor contracts, among other tasks
Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
Develop leadership team through empowerment, delegation and mentoring
Flexibility to help adjust to new tasks should company or office need change
Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees
Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
High school Diploma or GED Required
Business related degree or continuing education would be a bonus but not required
