Optical Associates, LLC Hiring for Dispensing Optician at Township of Warren, NJ Full Time

Our Optical shop needs a Dispensing Optician to join our team. We are located in Central Jersey and are located in an Ophthalmology practice with three locations. We are looking for a full or part-time Optician. Prefer an individual with flexibility in their schedule. Our patients expect fast, friendly service and attention to detail when fitting corrective lenses. If you enjoy serving patients of all ages and if you have a license in good standing, we want to talk to you.

Requirements:

1. Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical chart

2. Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issues

3. Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences

4. Ability to use EMR

5. VSP experience a plus

6. 7. No lab work done on premises

8. Ability to travel to all practice locations, primarily in Piscataway and Edison
