Manufacturing Engineer

Job Overview

Grandeur Fasteners is seeking a manufacturing engineer to support plant operations for the fastener and ammunition industry. The manufacturing engineering will be responsible for new product development and tool design for cold heading equipment.

Responsibilities

· Support production in reducing/eliminating equipment and tooling downtime by using good analytical methods.

· Design tooling for cold heading equipment.

· Support and maintain error-proofing methodologies

· Develop process documentation prints, work instructions, etc..

· Facilitate continuous improvement for all processes

· Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product or processes.

Qualifications

· Minimum of bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field.

· CAD experience (SolidWorks is desirable)

· Strong skills in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) with ability to learn ERP systems and tools quickly

· Good mechanical/technical skills

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast pace environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Can demonstrate excellent leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.
