THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently looking for an additional Receptionist to join our growing team! In this role you will work along side our existing Receptionist; managing our front switchboard and reception area, answering and directing calls and guests, handling mail/shipping needs, supplying and organizing office supplies, assisting with administrative tasks, and most importantly bringing a warm and friendly smile as the first point of contact to our office.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist include:
Greet and direct incoming foot traffic as required.
Answer and direct all incoming calls.
Assist with administrative / clerical tasks as needed.
Order and organize office supplies as needed.
Assure readiness of the reception area for each working day.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
Oversee maintenance of reception area and equipment.
Master multiple office systems including the phone system, boardroom technology, etc.
Coordinates pick-up and delivery of all mail services (Canada Post, Couriers etc.)
Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations, such as sorting and distributing mail.
Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.
Handles requests efficiently and effectively for face to face and telephone interactions.
Adhere to and embrace the companies Core Values and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
Other administrative duties as they may arise.
Please Note: This position will be working out of our Port Coquitlam office, Monday through Friday from 8am – 4:30pm. Local candidates only.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
1-2 years experience as a receptionist or in a similar office administration type of role.
Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
High school diploma, or GED.
Prior experience with routing/directing calls.
