Hi Desert Water Transport is seeking a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator. This is a part-time, telework position that provides the flexibility to work remotely. The ability to ensure customer satisfaction, while meeting scheduling demands and generating sales is paramount. The ideal candidate for this job is personable, dependable, detail oriented, techno-savvy and has a strong work ethic. This position is key for our small team and plays an integral part in our company’s “voice”.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support through phone calls, text messages and emails
• Prepare and disseminate correspondence to new, existing, and potential customers
• Maintain client data through field service software
• Process credit card payments and email invoices
• Manage the daily/weekly/recurring delivery schedules
• Dispatch drivers and provide delivery support
• Communicate key information to team members
• Provide additional administrative support as needed, which may include marketing, sales, and business development tasks

Requirements

• Resident of the Hi Desert/Morongo Basin with a strong knowledge of our local areas
• Ability to multi-task, while working at a fast pace
• Works well with structure, routine and processes
• Self-starter with problem-solving and time-management skills
• Organized with a high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Integrity and professionalism at all times, particularly under pressure
• Ability to work remotely with use of Wi-Fi and Verizon
• Confident with technology, including software, applications, cell phones, tablets, and computers

Hi Desert Water Transport is a small, family run business based in Joshua Tree. We deliver bulk, potable water to residents of Wonder Valley, Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Pipes Canyon, Pioneertown, and Landers. The water we deliver is used to fill large water storage tanks and pools. We have been in business for 10 years, and have a strong appreciation for our customers and community.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
