Security Guard Full Time

We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and communities in Trail, Nelson, Castlegar, anywhere in the West Kootenay. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

**Responsibilities**

• Provide a visible security presence and maintain a safe environment
• Patrol premises, monitor access control, and report irregularities
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with professionalism
• Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures
• Complete detailed and accurate daily reports
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public

**Qualifications**

• Valid BC Security Licence
• Valid Basic First Aid is an asset
• BC Class 5 driver’s license
• Reliable transportation (site-dependent)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Previous security or customer service experience
• Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems
