We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and good-minded individual to become our newest Patient Accounts Representative at One GI®.

A typical day as a Patient Accounts Representative:

• Review past due accounts and contact patient for payment.
• Transfer accounts to Early Out and Bad Debt Vendors.
• Review and process Patient Refunds.
• Review and process Bankruptcies.
• Review and process deceased patients (estates).
• Update insurance and refile claims.
• Apply self-pay adjustments to patient accounts.
• Collect payments from patients for processing.

This position could suit you if:

• Computer skills – good working knowledge of MS office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize.
• Able to maintain standards and professionalism during periods of fluctuating workloads.
• Provide professional service to direct customers of One GI in all interactions.
• Build effective working relationships with other team members.
• Manage daily tasks to ensure business needs are consistently met.

The Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Education and Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience in medical billing and collections in a clinical setting required.
