Due to this strategy a new role has been created for a FP&A Analyst to work closely with the senior leadership team and cross functionality with the business to drive growth and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing finance team, where your finance experience, commercial acumen and business partnering skills will drive the business to its next phase of growth. As the financial planning & analysis expert, you will partner closely with the senior leadership team to provide insights and recommendations that will drive the commercial ambitions of the group.

Your deep understanding of business drivers, together with strong commercial acumen, relationship building, financial modelling, influencing and communication skills will enable you to speak up and provide a persistent challenge to senior management, enabling business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading, coordinating and preparation of the 5 Year Plan (P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet), quarterly Forecasts and annual Budget;
• Business partner the senior executive leadership team to identify opportunities to increase profitability, competitor advantage, shareholder value and business growth;
• Produce and present management ing packs with insightful analysis and commentaries;
• Trend, competitor and product/customer profitability analysis;
• Weekly dashboard ing of sales and revenue drivers;
• Risk and opportunity analysis;
• Drive continuous process improvement of existing ing tools and processes to improve ing capability;
• Support the executive leadership team on strategic insights and financial modelling of adhoc projects/M&A deals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You are qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Group FP&A role. You ideally have solid foundations from a Big 4/mid-tier-chartered firm before progressing into commercial. You possess strong experience working cross functionally with business unit heads to provide insights, with the ability to translate the numbers into improved business results in a non-financial environment. You have extensive experience within FP&A and have led and owned a full budget and forecast process from end to end.

In addition, you will have:

• Strong commercial finance acumen with a proven track record of actively driving commercial agendas across the business.
• Demonstrated success partnering with non-finance stakeholders, ideally in a business with a large volume of categories and products.
• Demonstrated financial modelling experience.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Experience using BI tools such as TM1/Cognos.
• Highly developed written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a wide range of key stakeholders.
• Pro-active and customer focused mind set.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
• Superior stakeholder management, including advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
