The Logistics Specialist will support Logistics Manager on all supply chain shipping aspects for Advanta Seeds as assigned. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for, and perform as necessary, daily activities associated within the company’s distribution, movement, and storage of its supplies as assigned by Logistics Manager. Their main duties include assistance in reviewing budgets, processing shipments, and building delivery routes

Job Responsibilities

• Assist manager in overseeing warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
• Assist in monitoring budgets.
• Assist in assigned carriers for transportation
• Process Domestic and Export loads as assigned.
• Organize warehouse, label goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
• and present solutions for department complaints and situations
• Maintain an updated record of shipping carriers, routes, and rates
• Support the Logistics Manager, Plant Manager, production team and sales team members in all aspects of day-to-day operations are achieved.
• Coordinate seed logistics activities to ensure accurate records and movement of product
• Satisfy internal production standards within quality, timeliness, and financial objectives
• Assist in collecting analytical data to support Logistics Manager
• Assist in minimizing cost and elevating quality standards
• Assist in establishing an inventory flow that is responsive to the needs of the business.
• Strong SAP skills and support on data entry and accuracy
• Respond to questions and inquiries from all levels of the organization
• Prepare and maintain record and s
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Two to Five years of related experience.
• Familiarity Logistics and International Logistics
• Ability to perform essential functions with attention to detail. Able to multitask and work cooperatively with other team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• SAP knowledge

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus experience in plant science, agriculture, biology, or related fields
