Logistics Analyst

Full-Time/1st Shift (Monday thru Friday)

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the domestic and international shipping operations, including shipment routes and carrier expectations. Works closely with the planning and sales departments to understand upcoming shipment needs and coordinates those needs with carriers. This position is in Hebron, KY, USA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for tracking / managing global inbound container shipments and outbound freight to customers around the world (mainly domestic).
• Monitors market conditions (e.g.: capacity constraints, surcharges, etc.) and collaborates with management to evaluate trade-offs between transportation costs, inventory costs, and service levels.
• Effectively interacts with internal teams to define objectives, scope, and deliverables of domestic and/or international transportation solutions.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are in place for all supply chain-related operations, including shippers, receivers, carriers, brokers, etc.
• Help to optimize outbound small pack shipments by setting up / utilizing latest shipping hardware and software. Mainly UPS and FedEx
• Effectively use Excel to analyze data, create KPI’s / metrics and be able to generate dashboards or PowerPoint presentations, as necessary.

Position Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in domestic and international logistics

· Excellent computer skills required (MS Office Suite, ERP systems). SAP is a plus

· Solid understanding of international trade to ensure compliance (HTS codes, etc…)

· Able to coordinate timely actions across multiple countries.

· Detail-oriented, able to compile large amounts of pertinent data into easily understood s.

· Due to global nature of the company, able to respond to situations at all hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
