We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all transportation matters within the company, with a particular focus on obtaining loads. This includes managing schedules, coordinating deliveries, tracking transportation vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing any transportation issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
• Prepare accurate s for upper management
• Actively seek out new load opportunities, negotiate rates, and establish relationships with freight brokers

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, with a strong focus on obtaining loads and maximizing revenue.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and secure loads from distributors and shippers, ensuring a steady stream of business.
• Solid understanding of market trends and freight rates to effectively negotiate and secure profitable deals.
• Proficient in logistics software and other relevant IT systems for tracking and managing loads.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with freight brokers, shippers, and distributors.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact business operations.
• Experience in strategic planning and risk management in the logistics field.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure, always prioritizing the company’s best interests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred But Not Required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $67,809.00 – $87,820.00 per year
