The Physician Recruiter facilitates the recruitment process for physician and advanced practice providers system-wide, including recruitment for our medical foundation, hospital based groups, outpatient clinics and community support efforts.

Essential
Advertises opportunities through online job boards, various social media platforms, residency/fellowship programs, and other relevant methods.
Collaborates with Marketing and other departments to meet goals.
Develops strong working relationships with community and local physician groups to support physician recruitment process.
Accountable for using all available resources and methods for locating, tracking and attracting qualified candidates.
Keeps current on new developments in candidate sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and retention.
Establishes and maintains contacts with Graduate Medical Education residency and fellowship programs.
Coordinates and attends recruitment events and physician career fairs as needed.
Maintains expertise on recruitment package, contracts, employment process. Understands compensation package and is able to answer candidate questions as needed.
Screens resumes and conducts telephone interviews. Coordinates on site visit of candidate and spouse. Provides expert information about Kaweah Health and the surrounding community, including schools. Develops itineraries, communicates with physicians and affected participants.
Assists in maintaining physician applicant tracking system accuracy and updating tracking s on recruitment activity.
Supports compliance with all legalities, including recruitment guidelines and regulations.
Makes recommendations on process improvement, procedure updates, marketing tools and techniques related to recruitment.
