Boston Childrens Hospital Hiring for Patient Experience Rep (e/o weekend/holiday) pm-:am at Boston, MA Full Time

The Patient Experience Representative will be responsible for:

• Scheduling appointments or procedures.
• Receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for admissions.
• Collecting, verifying, and recording required information.
• Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments/admissions and entering related information on hospital & departmental computer systems.
• Answering, screening and routing telephone calls.
• Performing general office support tasks such as opening and sorting mail, ordering supplies and maintaining logs & records.

To qualify, you must have:

• 
  A high school level of education, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Work requires the analytical skills and judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action in circumstances and situations that vary.
• The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
• The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
• Strong attention to details, commitment to excellence and strong planning and organizational skills, using time efficiently and prioritizing and coordinating tasks appropriately.
• Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skill.
