If you would like to join Sukut s extraordinary team, we have an excellent opportunity for a Level I- Helpdesk Support Temp. To be successful in this role the individual must be able to work independently, as well as within a team, be service-oriented, patient, resourceful, and have a desire to help others. Typical duties may include and are not limited to:
- Offering technical support and guidance to users via phone, email, or in-person regarding computer software and hardware issues.
- Conducting basic troubleshooting and maintenance to address user needs and computer system issues.
- Installing, repairing, and modifying computer hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals.
- Configuring workstations and laptops with standard desktop images and installing necessary applications.
- Providing one-on-one assistance to end-users.
- Completing other assigned tasks from the lead technician.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field OR 2 years equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and software applications (O365, Autotask, AD).
- Understanding of networking concepts like IP addressing, DHCP, and basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues
- Familiarity with ticketing systems to log and track user requests and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately.
- Experience with handheld devices (iPhones, and iPads).
- Proficiency in remote support tools to help users remotely, including remote desktop tools, chat support, and phone support.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues, such as network connectivity problems, software configuration errors, printer issues, password resets, and basic hardware malfunctions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple support tickets simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
Salary Range: $22-28 per hour
