Your new role

This role supports the Practice Project Manager and Head of IT Infrastructure Service Operations with the end to end delivery of IT Projects. This includes all aspects of project delivery from planning, execution and delivery of the defined objectives and stakeholder requirements, using QBE methodologies and processes. The incumbent must be able to understand and translate the business vision into actionable initiatives that deliver on the business’s strategic aspirations.

• Manage QBE projects and ensure a focus on realizing QBE’s strategic objectives.
• Capture and analyse the business requirements to align the solution delivery with the business expectations.
• Manage delivery effectively, utilizing QBE’s multivendor environment to optimize project execution.
• Facilitate effective stakeholder management through proactive communication and collaboration, ensuring alignment between business and IT planning and strategy.
• Network and knowledge sharing with counterparts within IT and Business.
• regularly to the customer on initiative status, scope, budget, timeframes, and resource allocation.
• Ensure regular project management activities including tracking and intervention to ensure programs are delivered to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

About You

To be successful as an IT Project Manager you will have extensive experience within a Senior Delivery or Account Manager role within IT.

You will also have.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels in IT and business.
• IT Management knowledge and experience across Projects/Programs and BAU activities.
• Ability to capture and communicate business demand / requirements to IT teams.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Project management including budget, benefit, schedule and team management skills.
