Faherty Brand Hiring for Inventory Analyst at New York, NY Full Time

Faherty is looking for a strong, cross-functional individual to fill the role of Inventory Analyst. This individual should be excited by the concepts of data analytics, communication and proactive problem solving as these will be necessary to execute the day-to-day function. ing into VP, Controller, with a dotted line to the VP, Operations, this role will work daily to maintain accurate inventories in stores and all global warehouses.

In a tactical scope, this role will be responsible for the oversight of our company wide inventory accuracy by partnering cross-functionally with various teams to ensure accurate receipt of new stock, adjustments of current stock, and various other inventory centric movements at distribution centers and retail stores.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for maintaining organized inventory across systems, warehouses and stores at all times, identifying and correcting discrepancies, and analyzing the root cause of discrepancies.
• Daily management of systemic inventory adjustment and inventory alignment including the daily posting of inventory journals.
• Strives to learn and partner with store operations in order to target a 99.8% inventory accuracy in stores and process all inventory related transactions.
• Support sample movements, coordination of marketing events/activities and special requests to fulfill inventory pulls.
• Manage store’s fulfillment performance and follow up with stores on abnormal transactions impacting inventory on-hand.
• Monitor the daily warehouse transfer to ensure store receipts are posted timely and misalignments are proactively managed.
• Conduct and document annual physical inventory counts in partnership with Retail, Wholesale, and Accounting and will be responsible for supporting the accuracy of inventory balances for the annual audit.
• Generate inventory dashboard ing.
• Reconcile perpetual inventory records with general ledger.
• Prepare inventory ing for monthly borrowing base calculations.
• Analyze shrink and revise shrink estimates on an ongoing basis.

What you’ll have:

• 3+ years of relevant inventory accounting, control and/or supply chain experience
• Proficient Excel capabilities with experience in analyzing large data sets (will be required to demonstrate capabilities)
• Strong work ethic with a motivation to grow and develop
• Strong communication skills and openness
• Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000 per year, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
