Who Are We Looking For…

The Sales Coordinator will partner with the Sales team to develop the tools & tactics to facilitate speed of information necessary to meet the organization’s revenue growth deliverables. This will require exceptional analytical skills and strong collaboration, as well as the ability to prioritize and multitask with other functions including Operations, Marketing and Finance.

Essential Duties:

• Customer, Sales, OPS, broker database creation and management of continued information accuracy and communication of Customer Wiring to internal owners
• Oversight and owner of Shopify platform for all sample, swag, material ordering, shipping + maintain sample and swag ordering SOP through Shopify
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure arrival of on-time arrival of samples, and coordinate modifications of orders.
  • Setup new items in Shopify – innovation, swag, apparel and packaging flats.
  • Oversee coupon inventory at HQ, ensuring that it is accurate on Shopify
  • Work with Marketing for food samples, virtual packaging (packaging flats) for innovation items
  • Monitor and fulfill coupon materials and trade show materials.
  • Track and maintain inventory of coupons and trade show materials.
  • Ship items on Shopify based on orders + any ad hoc business needs
• New customer setup + collaboration with Finance, Sales, OPS and Marketing
• Coupon Creation/Management:
  • Oversees the Sales Outside Services coupon budget
  • Requests all coupon barcodes
    • Includes coupons for Sales, Retail, Customer Service, Shopper Marketing and Brand Marketing
• Works with Creative to create/update coupons as needed
• Orders coupons from supplier to be shipped to HQ
• Sales communications:
  • All customer letters and associated information in coordination with Marketing & OPS
  • Weekly email communications
• Organize, track and fulfill innovation sample requests (including packaging flats) to help support successful customer meetings and trade shows
• Coordinate the creation of VIP boxes that are sent to VIP customers and potential new customers. This includes ordering new swag items to be included in the boxes and working with Marketing to have the custom caddie created.
• Work with Marketing to make sure that assets on Air is current
• Work with Marketing to supply information for any creative requests that the sales team has
• Facilitate/coordinate any Sales and/or Customer meetings at Perfect Snacks HQ
• Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Sales Department
• Takes on any Ad Hoc projects that will help the team and broader organization

Skills / Qualification / Education:

• 4-year college degree in Business or related field
• 1+ years previous experience in sales, sales support, or marketing within CPG industry
• Prior experience managing a company’s internal communications to and from a customer-facing sales team
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, including superior communication skills (written and verbal)
• Solid understanding of basic sales methods / techniques
• Ability to work under pressure, balance multiple tasks, and proactively work through areas of responsibility as a steward of the brand and company
• Proficient with basic computer hardware and software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Good oral and written skills
• Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
• Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
• Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $65k – $70k (DOE)
Bonus / Benefits / Vacation / 401k Eligible

This role is an In-Office | Remote hybrid. Candidate must live in San Diego, CA.
