Optoma Technology Hiring for Logistics Analyst at Fremont, CA Full Time

Optoma Technology, Inc. is looking for an energetic and solutions-oriented candidate to join our logistics team! This position is based out of our Fremont, CA office.

SUMMARY:

The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for a range of activities to support our product workflow in logistics, sales and distribution, and customer service. The ideal candidate will monitor day-to-day domestic and export logistics operations, developing and maintaining carrier delivery metrics and freight ing to measure carrier service performances and monthly freight spends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Monitor daily s from carriers to ensure shipments are on track to meet expected delivery dates for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare export documentation as required for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Receive, audit, approve/modify carrier invoices, and perform cost center allocation into weekly and master freight logs for processing.
• Responsible for filing claims, logging and following up with carriers for damaged and lost product claims to ensure resolutions and reimbursements.
• Maintain monthly freight ing and conduct freight bill audits to measure freight spend by carrier and service level.
• Responsible for supporting issues of routing, direct ship pickups, and carrier scheduling.
• Follow up on projects and assigned tasks and progress to upper management.
• The position may require additional duties not specified which can include but is not limited to general clerical duties, i.e. faxing, mailing, filing, data entry, etc.
• Any other duties assigned by the manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of logistics experience with knowledge of ocean/air documents, customs forms and regulations preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
• Reverse Logistics experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and DHL systems are required for domestic and International shipments as well as LTL & FTL carriers.
• This role requires organizational and planning skills to work across multi-functional teams to set up logistics and ensure flawless execution to customers.
• Ability to manage, understand and set goals to improve existing business model efficiencies, increase output and reduce costs.
• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in Microsoft Excel intermediate spreadsheet skills, to create pivot tables, graphs, and summary s.
• Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus
• Customer service experience (not required but a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
