ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Junior Content Producers are an important part of the effective and timely delivery of awesome creative work for some of Australia’s biggest brands. In these roles, you’ll work with brands like Nespresso, Journey Beyond, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, James Hardie, Best Restaurants of Australia and plenty more.

You’ll work with an expert team of content production, marketing, commercial and strategy pros, all of whom will help you develop your content creation skills and understanding of what makes for great branded content and marketing. Importantly, we don’t take each other too seriously, so you’re more than welcome to bring a sense of humour to work with you each day.

We’re focused on delivering The Best Content Ever for each of our client’s diverse audiences, so you’ll have a chance to contribute to the development of things like snappy, well-researched digital articles, on-trend videos for TikTok, Instagram and other social channels, unique and luxurious magazines and print products and beautiful long-form, narrative style video series.

You’ll also help keep our team running smoothly, supporting Storyation staff members with some administrative tasks, managing the office space and lending a hand to our parent agency Medium Rare for the odd office task and team event.

Some of the key responsibilities in this role include:

• Provide production support to all teams with a particular emphasis on storing, sharing and managing large volumes of content in line with agency processes
• Work with freelancers and production teams across a range of content disciplines and channels to meet client briefs
• Assist with the publishing and management of social media content for client channels
• Help with pre-production tasks for video and still image content including managing schedules, drafting call sheets, managing permits and briefing talent
• Handle office tasks including maintaining stationery and office consumables, keeping the office tidy, helping prepare for meetings and onboarding new starters

The person we’re looking for has the following kinds of experience and skills:

// A qualification (tertiary or vocational) in a marketing, communications, media, production, digital or similar field

// Some experience working in an office, administrative or professional environment (including internships), delivering against work both individually and as part of a team

// Some experience creating and/or completing templated documents in the course of a project or regular duties

// Basic understanding of social media, digital content, marketing and/or production

// Some proficiency in:

• attention to detail and autonomous organisation skills, often across multiple projects running at the same time with competing deadlines
• professional written and spoken communication, including the ability to learn and use technical or production-related jargon
• creating and maintaining databases of information in support of business processes (e.g. equipment lists, contact information, expense trackers)
• using Adobe Creative Suite apps (incl. InDesign, Photoshop, PremierePro etc)
• using project management apps (e.g. Wrike, Trello or similar) and Microsoft Office apps (especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• using social media management apps (e.g. Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Later.com etc) and knowledge of how to publish and manage social media content
