Director of Talent Strategy
The Director of Talent Strategy is responsible for promoting, executing, and developing the Northwestern Mutual internship program. This role is also responsible for the onboarding, contracting, and licensing of all advisors. A strong candidate for this role will have a high sense of follow-through with great attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment while completing tasks in an effective and timely manner and is able to work well with others. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Promote financial practicum through marketing strategies on social media outlets and at campus events
o Build and maintain relationships with professors, coaches, administrators, etc. on campuses throughout the state
o Develop an on-campus strategy and execute for campuses across the state of Indiana
o Coordinate lead generating events with old and new campus center of influences
o Prescreen candidates for lead generating events
o Oversee the creation and implementation of structured meeting/accountability schedule, including but not limited to activity coaching, mentoring, client builder, and individual coaching
o Work collaboratively with the Intern Leadership Team to identify, communicate, and track intern expectations and results
o Collaborate with the leadership team across the network office and district network offices to drive conversion process
o Lead and/or coordinate internship meetings
o Provide information on the technical requirements of the contracting, licensing, and registration process to appropriate personnel.
o Act as liaison between the Network Office and Home Office throughout the entire contracting, licensing, and registration processes.
o Act as liaison between the Network Office and background investigation company for requesting and follow up of inspection s. Flag findings to the Managing Partner for determining appropriate action.
o Act as liaison between the Network Office and the Insurance Departments for scheduling exams.
o Schedule and track licensing, registration education, and exam requirements, to include continuing education, for industry or Home Office courses. Provide successful course completion information to the Home Office or outside vendors.
o As appropriate, facilitate and track requirements of non-resident licensing requirements.
Qualification Criteria:
· Bachelor’s Degree; strongly preferred
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality
· Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
· Has interest in learning on a continuous basis, with high degree of initiative
· Ability to embrace change, work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
· Demonstrated leadership to motivate and hold others accountable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
