Job Description
Campaign Managers at digitalJ2 are responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of inbound marketing strategies. They serve as the liaison between the client and internal team to ensure planning, brainstorming and execution of marketing tactics are always on track in order to create digital marketing campaigns that deliver on our clients’ objectives and business goals.
The campaign manager will be collaborating with team members to create and execute project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements to ensure key milestones are met on time.
Responsibilities
● Assist the Account Manager in the planning, implementation, and execution of B2C and B2B digital marketing campaign funnels within HubSpot and initiatives to drive growth for digitalJ2 clients
● Assist with managing the client communication and relationship. Responsible for carrying out customer tactical calls which includes managing the client relationship and mitigating potential questions or concerns
● Manage campaign timelines and maintain an on-time completion rate of 95%
● Manage the creative quality control and approval process with clients
● Manage vendors and/or contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of deliverables
● Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and ing on key performance metrics and identifying ways to optimize future campaigns.
● Support our ongoing SEM, SEO, and Paid Ad efforts.
● Create and schedule social content across various channels.
● Coordinate internal SMEs to ensure execution of deliverables on time and within budget.
● Coordinate meetings for SMEs to discuss items such as content strategy, CRM implementation and integration, messaging, design, etc.
● Managing the project timeline from conception to implementation ensuring that all tasks are completed by the team
● Ensuring that clients understand the week-over-week progress of what was completed, what they must approve, and what the next steps are toward the overall goal.
● Continuing self-education by staying up to date on all relevant certifications, reading books, etc. to continually provide all portfolio clients the best of the best strategies.
Past Experience
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business,
Project Management, or a related field (Relevant experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree in one of these fields)
● At least 3 – 4 years experience in digital marketing
● At least 2 – 3 years of demonstrable campaign management experience
● Experience using a variety of marketing platforms, specifically HubSpot
● Experience working with B2C and B2B customers
● Expertise in web analytics, tracking implementation, and ing
● Experience with brand development
● Proficient use of content marketing tools
● Understanding of full life-cycle content marketing campaign development
● Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
● Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
● Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
● Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
● Solid knowledge of marketing tactics as it relates to paid advertising (FB, IG,
Google Ads, Etc.)
Preferred Experience
● HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certified
● HubSpot Marketing Software Certified
● Knowledge of They Ask, You Answer principles
● Knowledge of the Story Brand Framework
● Experience in setting up and optimizing paid ad campaigns on all major search engines and social platforms.
● An understanding of SEO and paid advertising and how it can be leveraged in the context of inbound marketing.
