Position: Receptionist

Position Overview: Medi-Weightloss of Kittery is seeking a part-time receptionist. The Receptionist works under the direct supervision of the Office Manager. The environment is fast-paced and the position is multifaceted.

Essential Job Functions:

• Use a multi-line phone system to answer and appropriately route all incoming calls.

• Use the EMR to check in/out all patient visits.

• Refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the appropriate staff member.

• Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining systems standards and employing solid product knowledge, along with all other aspects of customer service.

• Process accounts receivable transactions.

• Accurately and securely maintain all financials for services rendered and products sold.

• Responsible for verifying the accuracy of the daily receipts and developing a “daily batch” to be submitted to the office manager.

• Assist with all administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering telephones, scheduling patients, and filing medical records

• Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies

• Train additional staff on daily procedures when requested to by the office manager and/or physician

• Participate in clinic marketing efforts and provide ongoing support to promote clinic profitability and success

Requirements

• Must be able to multi-task, apply critical thinking skills, and provide the highest level of customer service at all levels of the operation

• Interpersonal / human relations skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills both oral and written

• Ability to work with as part of the clinic team and corporate structure
