Dispatcher Job Description

Duties:
– Answer incoming calls and emails, and route them to the appropriate department or person
– Manage phone systems and respond to customer inquiries
– Coordinate rides for passengers
– Enter data into ride scheduling software
– Monitor transportation routes and adjust schedules as needed
– Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
– At least 2 years of experience in dispatching or related field required
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
