We are looking for a Technician to join our team and provide Covid testing to our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in testing oropharyngeal swabs., utilizing a electronic portal. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing advice and guidance to customers, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely manner.

ALL TESTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FINDING THEIR OWN LOCATIONS AND/OR INDIVIDUALS TO TEST.

COMMISION BASED WITH MONTHLY.

TRANSPORATION IS PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of specimens.
• Perform oral or nasal swabs on patients for COVID testing.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Utilizing a portal.
• Processing specimens, labeling specimens, and putting samples in proper containers.
• Follow departmental policies to correctly identify the patient before any sample is obtained.
• Follow Universal Precautions and all OSHA standards when handling specimens.
• Strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain neat, clean, orderly patient/work areas always.
• Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff.

Education and Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 – $7,500.00 per month
