NOVA Engineering is a hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing team! The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading a talent acquisition team and function that includes full-life cycle recruiting, sourcing, analytics, applicant tracking software management, and employer branding activities. This role will be a trusted resource to hiring managers in driving our recruiting strategies and programs. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for sourcing strategies, cultivating relationships with schools, staffing agencies, and professional organizations to develop relationships and candidate pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and is a trusted resource for recruitment strategies and best practices in candidate sourcing, legal requirements, interviewing skills and other related topics.
• Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), implement process and system enhancements; provide training and troubleshooting ATS usage questions to the recruiting team.
• Partner with Marketing to develop videos, testimonials, and marketing/social media campaigns to promote our employer brand.
• Chair the company’s internal recruiting committee to successfully achieve short- and long-term goals and identify ongoing strategies.
• Establish and maintain effective past employee reach-out program.
• Partner with operations leaders to enhance the internship program.
• Develop data driven insights and review with VP of Human Resources to show progress on recruitment goals and key projects.
• Prepare recruiting metrics for monthly presentation to senior leadership.
• Develop relationships with technical schools, colleges, universities, diversity groups, and professional organizations.
• Command a full grasp of the company’s mission, vision and values and align and our talent acquisition approach accordingly.
• Continually develop and refine innovative ways to source and attract top-tier talent and improve the candidate experience.
• In collaboration with operations leaders, develop new and update current job descriptions.
• Lead, mentor and professionally develop a team of internal recruiters.
• Support other members of the Corporate Recruiting team during vacation or other leaves of absence.
• Perform full-cycle recruitment efforts as needed.
• Manage agreements with external recruitment agencies and serve as the main contact person.
• Responsible for oversight of the Corporate Recruiting budget.
• Plan and attend various recruitment functions including college recruitment fairs and conferences.
• Manage special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with federal and state employment laws.

ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 5+ Years of work experience recruiting for all functions and at all levels within an organization.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with proven ability to grow a team and motivate direct s.
• AEC industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency working in applicant tracking systems; UKG Recruiter system experience a plus.
• Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Working knowledge of recruiting metrics with the ability to analyze and on data.
• Strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Strong service orientation with business-driven mindset, sense of urgency and continual drive for process improvement.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products and general computer skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize projects. Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
• Sound judgment, sensitivity to diverse constituencies, excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to demonstrate initiative and motivation.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information in an appropriate manner.
