We are seeking a positive, hard-working, and ambitious candidate with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Inside Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for providing distributors with price quotations and technical product information for custom and standard systems.

Primary Job Functions

• Provide sales quotations to distributors within two to three business days
• Answer technical questions about our products
• Work closely with the engineering department on custom orders
• Enter Customer Service Inquiries into our software
• Enter sales orders for warranty and freight claims
• Authorize returned material and write credits when applicable

Required Skills

• Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Customer service focus
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, typing)

Additional Skills

• Familiarity with Excel and AutoCAD a plus
• Ability to work efficiently

Experience

• Experience with industrial products is helpful

Education

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Hours

• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (one-hour lunch)

Physical Requirements

• The position requires sitting for extended periods of time and talking to customers on the phone

• Fast-paced working environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
