WE ARE SEEKING TO FILL A STAFF RECRUITER POSITION WITHIN OUR HR DEPARTMENT:

We are hiring for an experienced Staff Recruiter to join our hard-working, motivated HR and recruitment team. We work in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about finding ideal candidates to help our organization succeed. Our goal is to create a motivated and positive work space with employees who are eager to learn and grow. We maintain a staff of just over 100 full time employees, plus 250 seasonal employees depending on the time of year. Our business is highly cyclical, with two busy seasons per year – spring and fall. During a 10 week period leading up to each busy season, with the assistance of a the rest of the HR Team, Staff Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding approximately 250 seasonal employees. The Staff Recruiter will to the HR Manager and assist them in the overall recruitment goals for the organization. Our ideal candidate will have a drive to meet these standards and potentially exceed them to put the organization in the best possible position for success. This position requires a passion for high volume recruiting, with an intentioned focus on efficiency and process!

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience – additional recruitment bonuses will apply.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the HR Team, especially the HR Assistant, to develop recruitment and sourcing strategies to meet operational hiring needs.
• Partner with the HR Assistant to streamline applicant review on the company ATS, schedule phone and in-person interviews, prepare background and reference checks, and extend verbal and written offers to new hires.
• During peak seasons, push the recruitment and hiring standards to meet increased quotas and hiring needs.
• Be proactive in communicating with organizational leadership and the HR Manager to address any potential and upcoming hiring needs.
• Collect and analyze datea to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
• Create and update job advertisements to facilitate a consistent pipeline of potential applicants.
• Maintain accurate and complete records for all recruiting, interviewing and hiring activities.
• Quickly adapt and understand the business and recruitment models to effectively communicate open roles and conduct on-site “walk and talks.”
• Collaborate with the Training and Operations Team to make sure hiring standards are being met and address any changes needed within recruitment strategies.
• Measure and metrics weekly.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all types of people, qucikly assessing professional capabilities and strengths.
• Ablility to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize technical tools, i.e., Microsoft products, ATS, tracking sofytware, etc.
• Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities.
• Good understanding of manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural principles.
• Proven track record leading successful high volume recruitment.

Required:

• High School Diploma; Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant recruiting experience – manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural focus preferred.
