Our Software Engineer I uses experience and knowledge of different programming concepts and languages to create software. This role is a key member of a cross-functional product team, producing results independently and collaboratively to design, code, debug, test and maintain software.

Website Development

• Work as part of a Website development team.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives.
• Prepare detailed specifications from which websites will be developed.
• Design, code, debug, test, document and maintain complex website code.
• Write reusable code and libraries.
• Enhance websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write unit test plans and perform test runs.
• Research and resolve production problems.
• May perform moderate to high degrees of business analysis and/or technical analysis.
• Perform production code deployments.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholder(s).

Project/Release Activities

• Attend project/release meetings to learn and understand process.

Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree- Computer Science, Computer Technology or related area. Additional experience may substitute.
• 0-1 year software application development experience. Additional education may substitute.
