This is a full-time position with a stable company and offers an excellent benefit package. You will be responsible for sawmill division hiring and onboarding. This position introduces people to our culture and is involved in overall employee engagement and opportunities that help to maintain and grow our culture and vision as an employee-centric company. This is a vibrant, hands-on, face-to-face, people-driven role in support of the total employee experience. HR and recruiting experience is highly desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Talent Acquisition – Responsible for hiring and interviewing for a multi-location company
• Onboarding – Maintain appropriate onboarding and mentoring processes for all positions, including identifying future talent and growth potential
• Safety – Support team engagement and education regarding our safety expectations and policies
• Engagement – Act as a brand ambassador for culture and values, including supporting each location in leading a respectful and kind workplace
• Training and Development Support – Continual assessment readiness for advancement opportunities and assessing needs of individuals for training and development

• Tremendous people skills with the ability to connect well and build relationships
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute
• Ability to present to varied audiences effectively
• Able to make decisions and problem solve in a fast-paced, changing work environment
• Able to communicate at a high level with employees and managers using verbal and written skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Experience:

• Multi-location business experience preferred
• Progressive experience with coaching, selling, and influencing
• Supervisory experience most helpful
• Human Resources and recruitment experience highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
