Thomson Reuters Hiring for Project Manager at Pyrmont, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We are looking for an experienced software Project Manager with a background gained in corporate tax or finance, or legal operations to deliver software solution implementations for a portfolio of customers across the APAC and Emerging Markets region.

About The Role

• Deliver end to end software implementations for our customers across region.
• Focus on strong customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities as Project Manager will be:

• Manage and execute implementation, customisation and consulting projects
• Ensure projects are running to schedule and pre-empt risk and issues
• Proactively manage risks and issues, and escalate where needed
• Revenue optimisation by ensuring billable and out of scope work is properly captured, estimated, agreed and billed
• Working in collaboration with implementation partners and other internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with customers during delivery phase and as ongoing escalation point
• Have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and contribute to the customer satisfaction KPI
• Collaboration with PMO within Professional Services to ensure project ing is completed in a timely manner
• Collaboration with AEM Professional Services leadership team, Sales, CRM, Product/Proposition Management teams within TR
• Be responsible in managing and updating the various project management artifacts
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements

About you:

To be successful in the role, you will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• 2-4 years’ experience in software project management, ideally in a corporate or legal operations capacity
• Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
• Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
• Commercial and business acumen with strong time management, influence and leadership
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• PMP or equivalent project management qualification is highly desirable
• Familiarity with software-based business products
• Proficiency in IT and project management principles
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills particularly the ability to see problems objectively (e.g.: from customers’ viewpoint)
