Leading Edge Academy Hiring for Middle Math School Teacher at Maricopa, AZ Full Time

This is for the 2023-2024 School Year

Leading Edge Academy is accepting applications for the full time Middle School position at our Maricopa campus.

Academic Duties:

o Plans a program of study, employing a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students as well as state academic standards

o Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students

o Utilizes multi-sensory activities including audio/visual and computer presentations, outside and change of location activities, visuals, and graphics

o Evaluates students’ academic and social growth, maintains accurate gradebook, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress s and cards.

o Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulations.

o Demonstrates effective communication skills with parents, students, Principal, other teachers/aides, and District staff

o Posts grades to gradebook in a timely manner to provide parents and students with accurate information

Qualifications

• Meets all appropriately certified requirements for the grade level or subject area including proper teaching area endorsements.
• AZ Teacher Certification a plus, but not required.
• Two or more years classroom teaching experience preferred.
• AZ State Fingerprint clearance card required.

Job Type: Full-Time

The Middle School Science position is for the 2023-2024 School Year. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits available, but not part of the AZ State retirement system.

Pay: $48,216.00 – $58,516.00 per year
