Key Responsibilities:

– Execute shipments from the US, including arranging inland haulage from pickup points, securing freezer appointments, transloads and ocean bookings

– Negotiate freight rates including inland and ocean

– Maintain high volume with low errors in a high pace environment

– Responsible for entering key data, running s and maintain spreadsheets

– Provide exceptional customer service

-Problem Solving

– Minimum 2 years experience in ocean freight forwarding preferred

*Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a minimum of 1-2 years related experience, and/or training
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office
• Strong math skills
• Highly detail-oriented, energetic, organized, professional, resourceful, self-motivated
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills.
• Ability to determine and establish daily and weekly export priorities.
• Ability to take initiative and make sound business decisions.
• Team oriented, but takes ownership of providing timely, correct and complete documents.
• Previous international customer service experience including export compliance, documentation or logistics a plus.
