Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• ing to and assisting the Engineering Manager on projects regarding a variety of products, manufacturing improvements, sales support, troubleshooting, research, product development, etc. as assigned.
• Travel to visit customers to perform/assist in installation(s), maintenance, and/or training as needed. (These trips should be 2 days max at a time)
• Develop new systems and products, including: cellular technology, SCADA, programming PLC’s etc.
• Researching suitable solutions to various issues (electrical & mechanical) as they arise
• Perform cost estimates and create BOMs
• Creation of SOPs, Wiring Diagrams, Schematics, Spec and Cut Sheets
• Making models and prototypes of products (typically hands on assembly)
• Ability to work with others in the engineering/manufacturing/sales staff team
• Collaborate with the manufacturing staff overseeing proper production techniques are being followed
• Designing and conducting tests on new components/designs while using the scientific method
• Proposing modifications to current and retesting existing products/processes, including ROI calculations
• Thinking creatively is a plus
• The ability to do what needs to be done is an absolute must, this includes learning on the fly about things that the individual has no experience with
• Maintain customer relations intermittently (typically over the phone) while still being able to be productive on a daily/weekly task

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Position open to ME’s with electrical knowledge)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• AutoCAD
• Inventor or SolidWorks experience is a plus
• Microsoft Office
• Ladder logic knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• The ability to focus on quality while maintaining strong attention to detail and incorporating innovative solutions
• Project Management Skills
• Team player

Pay: $64,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
