Job Summary:

The Sales Estimator is responsible for quantifying the costs for projects to potential customers. In charge of identifying every single cost that goes into a project. Assist the sales team to create proposals, tracking the costs of projects, understanding customer specifications, and proposing a final budget for a project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotes within 24 hours of receiving the request
• Present cost estimates to the sales team
• Create s detailing all the costs going into the project
• Compare differences between estimated costs to actual costs
• Work with the sales team to prepare proposals

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Detail oriented
• Efficient and precise with creating quotes
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis, and Salesforce

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma
• 2 to 3 years work experience (preferred HVAC or estimator)

Helios’ compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $28.00 per hour in our lowest geographic market up to $32.00 an hour in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
